Why Soy???

Scents of Home brings you hand-poured 100% natural soy wax candles that will fill your home or office with wonderful scents.  Here at Scents of Home, we take pride in providing environmentally friendly soy wax candles that give off a wonderful, long-lasting fragrance.

We give you that special handmade touch by pouring each candle individually with 100% soy wax and natural wicks to provide a long lasting, clean, (virtually no soot) burn.  We then add only the best and strongest fragrance oils that bring the wax to life and fill the air with irresistible aromas.

Because we use 100% natural soy wax, you can be assured that your candles will burn clean down the sides of the jars, therefore allowing you to get the longest life from your candle.  After many long hours of testing and retesting, we believe that we have created an excellent quality candle at a reasonable price.  We stand behind our products 100% and feel confident that you will love them.

Soy Facts

Soy wax is made from natural soybeans grown right here in the USA.  Purchasing soy candles is an excellent way to support American farmers.

Soy wax burns cooler (slower) than paraffin, therefore, increasing your burn time.  Soy wax has a lower melting point, so remember to keep your candles out of the sun and bright light as this may cause your candle to sweat or discolor.

Soy wax candles produce very little (if any) soot and smoke.  To keep smoke at a minimum, be aware of how you burn your candles.  Each time you light your candle, trim the wick down to ¼ - ½ inch.  D o not allow wick trimmings to fall into your wax melt pool.  Also burn the candles in areas free from drafts.

A good rule of thumb is to burn the candle an hour for each inch of the candle’s diameter.

Please, never leave a burning candle unattended!!!
